July 16, 2005 - Lou Gigliotti take the wind at the SCCA Pro Racing Speed World Challenge GT race at Infinion Raceway. This was the seventh race this season for the World Challenge GT championship.

This was Gigliotti 's first win since 1997. Gigliotti was running in the LG Pro Long Tube Headers Corvette number 28 taking the early lead and never giving it up.
Coming in second was Tony Gaples just a little ofver 7 seconds back from Gigliotti.


One of the more exciting moments of the race were when then second and third place Wolf Henzler in a Porsche 911 Cup and Leighton Reese in a Corvette C6 got tangled up with each other in turn 7. Both cars ended up getting flat tires the put them into the pits at the same time. Henzler ended up getting out of the pit long before Reese who had to wait for the crew to re-tighten the rear lug nuts on the Corvette. Henzler's Porsche had racing hubs which allowed a much quicker tire change.
Finishing third was the defending Speed GT champion Tommy Archer in his c3controls/3R-Racing Dodge Viper.
