First off, let me tell you a little bit about myself. 
I’m 38 years old and have two beautiful daughters who are the apple of my eye. Oh yeah, I can’t forget my two Alaskan Malamutes, Natty and Dakota. I enjoy music, science, tinkering, and of course I love cars and racing! I currently road race a 1986 Mustang SVO with the Alfa Romeo Club of Southern California and continue to do a bit of SCCA Solo2 when time permits. I have to admit that I’m very partial to Fords, I own a 1984 Mustang SVO, two 1986 Mustang SVO’s, and a 2002 F350 Dually Crew Cab with a 7.3 Liter Powerstroke Diesel. I guess you could say that I like my Fords, and I like them with turbos! I’ve also owned a 1957 Ford F100 pickup and a 1969 Mach1 Mustang with a 428 Cobra jet. The only non Fords that I have owned were a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder 4X4, a 1988 Mazda RX7 10th anniversary (turbo as well), a 1984 Yamaha RZ-350, and a minivan (can you believe it was supercharged!). Those are all gone and now I just have my SVO’s and my truck.
One of the main reasons why I decided to get involved with RacersDating.com is so that I could work at doing one of the things that I love, racing! Racing is such a passion for me that I wanted to share it with as many people as possible. Having racing as a hobby is one thing, but being involved in the racing industry and having most of the focus of my work day being geared towards racing is to say the least, a blast!
Being a racer, I know how hard it is to get started and keep going at the sport. Lets face it, this is not an inexpensive hobby and often the details of getting started in the sport can be overwhelming. And it’s certainly not an easy way to make a living. Most of the people that I started with in the sport are still at the hobby level. One of the things that I really want to do with this site is to keep those friends involved in the sport and maybe some day help them get to the professional level. One of my visions is to have a great Sponsorship or Contingency program for the small time racers. Although initially the prize money will be small, I hope to increase it to the point of sponsoring a full on race team! Now there is a long way to go from paying for your fuel or tires to paying for an entire race team but I believe you must think big, to be big!
